Contract
Your Bid is a Contract.
Place a bid only if you're serious about buying the item. If you are the successful and winning bidder, you have entered into a legally binding contract to purchase the property bid on from the seller. You should contact the seller to resolve any questions before bidding.
Payment Commitment
YOU acknowledge that if you are the winning bidder, there will be an initial payment of $50 USD charged to your credit card on file.
You understand that this payment is to secure your purchase and will be deducted from your invoice total. You also acknowledge that you have three (3) business days to contact GovernmentAuction.com to arrange payment for the remaining balance.
If you do not contact GovernmentAuction.com you acknowledge that your credit card will be charged the remaining balance on the fifth (5) business day.
Payment Details
NOTE** Make sure before bidding that you read all the terms for the specific Lot you are bidding on.
Land - Straight Sale: What you bid is the price for this property plus a 10% buyer’s premium and low processing fee of $249.00. Most images are of the general area and may not be of actual property.
Land - Bid and Assume: Your bid is for the down payment and then you will assume the low balance/monthly payments noted in the terms section of the property you have won plus a 10% buyer’s premium and a low processing fee of $199.00. Most images are of the general area and may not be of actual property.
We charge $6 per month collection fee - yearly taxes will be prorated over 12 months. The Collection fee and yearly taxes will show on your payment coupon along with your monthly payment.

Terms and Conditions
All parcels must be paid for within 5 working days by the respective purchaser. A few properties will be offered as Bid and Assume sales. Your bid on these types of properties is your down payment, you then will assume the low balance and low monthly payment (noted in the terms on that specific property). You will be able to identify these foreclosure properties by their listing lines (Bid and Assume with monthly payment). GovernmentAuction.com will prepare all paperwork to insure a proper transaction. Once paid in full, property will be deeded by legal binding warranty deed.
Online Bidding
You are required to keep your login information in a safe and secure location. For this reason, the person posting bids online is assumed to be the account holder. Bids may be retracted up to 1 hour before the start of auction, however anytime thereafter, your bid is your contract.
